Hakki Takki

(Frank Schouten) is doing live performances with laptop, midi-gitar, and FX processors and feeds the people with a mash-up of dark bleep, acid, electro and techno. With the side-project Opdat/ Strukton/ Hakki Takki vs BAHK, he creates a wall of monstruous techno together with Bouk Bouwmeester.
On the weekly radio programme “Wasmachine”, he plays all kinds of music he’s interested in and is broadcasted by DFM Radio INT (http://dfm.nu). DJ Hakki Takki plays his records on parties, in between acts and art openings. As for his alter ego “Matto Frank”, he makes music in a more free style. Loops recorded sounds from his voice, field and improvised keyboard playing. He also curates and performs for CineSonic, (Video Inferno) an evening with classic and contemporary silent, avant-garde and experimental films with new electro-acoustic soundtracks performed live by a selection of cutting-edge musicians.
